Our facility meets all standards set by the State of Arizona and we are certified for Medicare service by the federal government. The Rummel Eye Care operating room is equipped with state-of-the-art medical technology and computer-assisted systems for ultrasonic microsurgery. Among our surgical services, we offer advanced laser procedures that significantly aid cataract surgery recovery, glaucoma treatment, and retinal problems.

Our latest addition, The i.Profiler plus®, combines an auto-refractor, Shack-Hartmann wavefront aberrometer, and Atlas 9000 corneal topography in one device to automatically measure both eyes in just under a minute. The i.Profiler works in tandem with i.Scription® technology, allowing our office to prescribe a fast and accurate prescription for i.Scription® lenses using the data collected from the i.Profiler plus® during your visit.
Outpatient Research
Successful scientific research performed at the Rummel Eye Care, P.C. centers yield significant advancements occurred in eye treatment and surgery. Our offices work on various ocular research projects, including procedures for small-incision cataract surgery, retinal repairs, glaucoma surgery, and corneal transplants. In conjunction with the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Drexel University in Philadelphia, our physicians are involved in research to determine the cause and potential treatments for macular degeneration.
