R. Mark Rummel,
M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Mark Rummel is a Certified Diplomat of the American
Board of Ophthalmology, the American Board of Quality Assurance
and Utilization Review Physicians. He is also a Fellow of
the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Rummel is a member
of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Arizona Ophthalmological
Society, and several other medical associations. Dr. Rummel
specializes in small-incision, sutureless cataract surgery
and surgery for other eye conditions. He earned his medical
degree at the University of Arizona College of Medicine
and served his residency in ophthalmology at the University
of Arizona Medical Center. He earned a doctorate Ph.D. degree
in health systems from Walden University, Institute for
Advanced Studies, Minneapolis, Minnesota. Dr. Rummel is
a staff physician at Yavapai Regional Medical Center and
the Prescott Out-Patient Surgery Center, and a consulting
physician at the Veterans' Administration Medical Center
in Prescott. He resides in Prescott with his wife, Carol.
